Paralegal

We are seeking a Paralegal to work with our Consumer Financial Services litigation practice group, conducting research, analyzing legal sources, and assisting with deposition preparation, trial preparation, and document management.

Requirements

• Conduct research in online legal resource platforms
• Analyze and summarize legal sources
• Work with litigation e-discovery and case management databases
• Assist with deposition preparation
• Organize and maintain large matter files
• Collect, organize, and Bates stamp documents for production
• Review and analyze documents in large document productions
• Assist with trial preparation
• Retrieve public records from online resources or directly from government institutions
• Summarize depositions or other legal documents
• Draft and prepare legal documents
• Perform paralegal duties and responsibilities as directed by group leader and other attorneys
• Maintain the firm’s official matter file utilizing the document management system
• Track and record client-billable time and non-billable hours
• Maintain and prioritize work responsibly and communicate if unable to meet daily responsibilities
