The Imagery Specialist is responsible for data quality and support operations of aerial data, including assessment, processing, and modification of imageries and derivative products. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional groups, process documentation, and improvement recommendations.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in the Geospatial industry
- High school graduate or Bachelor’s or equivalent experience in GIS/Geospatial/Remote Sensing
- Hands-on experience/working knowledge of one or more GIS software like ArcGIS, MapInfo, QGIS, or equivalent
- Experience working with scripting languages (shell, Python, Perl, JavaScript)
- Experience with SQL, with a focus on dashboarding
- Experience creating and styling thematic maps
- Exposure to photogrammetry technology and software
- Technological savviness for geospatial products and services
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to operate and communicate effectively at all levels of the business
- Comfortable with a rapidly changing environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail
- Able to work independently, motivated, proactive attitude with a passion for learning and creative problem-solving
