Quality Inspector

Role Overview

TT Electronics is hiring a Quality Inspector to carry out mechanical inspections of component parts and support with the inspection of manufactured electronic assemblies and subassemblies. The role involves identifying, recording, and escalating any nonconformities, performing internal calibration activities, and supporting the quality team with investigations, audits, and customer returns.

What You Will Do

The Quality Inspector will be responsible for the incoming inspection of machined and moulded parts, including aesthetics, and will perform internal calibration activities on instruments such as gauges and weighing scales.

Requirements

• Experience in a quality inspection role within a manufacturing or engineering environment
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Competent in using manual measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc), and interpreting technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inspection work
• Good communication skills to liaise effectively with colleagues at all levels
• Methodical, organised, and able to follow established processes
• A team player with the ability to support wider quality and operational objectives
