Role Overview

The Production Operator is responsible for meeting departmental production, quality, and safety standards in a high-production industrial environment. The role involves setting up and operating different types of machinery, evaluating product for quality, and recording defects. The Production Operator will work independently and as part of a team to meet departmental goals.

What You Will Do

Read and accurately understand shop orders, set up and operate machinery, evaluate product for quality, record defects, and maintain a clean and safe environment. The role requires cross-training on operations and equipment within the area.

• Ability to read and comprehend English written instructions
• General computer skills
• Ability to sit or stand throughout a shift and independently push, pull, or lift 10-50 pounds
• Consistently meet attendance requirements
• Willingness to work overtime, including weekends as necessary
