Mortgage Loan Consultant

Role Overview

The Mortgage Loan Consultant will gain licensure to originate assumption mortgage loans and work closely with customers to educate them on the assumption process.

What You Will Do

Complete education program, counsel customers, pre-qualify borrowers, determine eligibility, and originate applications.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Must be able to obtain licensing authority, maintain licenses, and keep up to date on regulation changes.

Requirements

• Possesses the ability to obtain licensing authority to perform origination functions
• Ability to maintain licenses, procure additional licensing and perform requisite continuing education requirements
• An Associate’s Degree
• Strong organization, attention to detail
• Working knowledge of conventional and government loan programs
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Effective written and verbal communication/presentation skills
