Intern

The Analytical Chemistry Laboratory Intern will support the laboratory team in providing analytical testing services, gaining hands-on experience in a STEM-focused environment, and learning essential laboratory skills, analytical techniques, and quality assurance practices.

Requirements

• Follows defined standard operating procedures and datasheets with necessary supervision/support
• Perform routine and advanced analytical chemistry tests on a variety of sample types, following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols
• Review raw data and analytical results for accuracy and completeness
• Assist with preparing and reviewing test reports to ensure clarity, accuracy, and compliance with laboratory standards
• Participate in the calibration, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of laboratory instruments to ensure reliable test results
• Organize and prioritize test assignments under the supervision of senior laboratory staff
• Adhere to laboratory quality control procedures, documentation practices, and regulatory requirements
• Participate in STEM-related projects, problem-solving activities, and continuous improvement initiatives within the laboratory
