We're looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer who is a software engineer and enjoys helping customers succeed directly, embedding with their teams, and making complex cloud-native systems work in real-world environments.
Requirements
- 5+ years professional experience as a software engineer
- Proficiency in at least one modern backend language
- Hands-on experience deploying and operating Kubernetes workloads
- Practical experience with GitOps tooling
- Experience building and maintaining infrastructure-as-code
- Ability to troubleshoot distributed systems
- Familiarity with CNI plugins
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals
- Experience with cloud platforms
- Ability to write automation and tooling in scripting languages
- Active DoD Secret clearance or higher
- Ability to work within DoD, IC, or government security frameworks
- Self-directed and able to navigate ambiguity
