Job Description
UMaine is seeking Part-Time Faculty (Temporary) in Chemistry for spring and/or fall 2025. Courses include General Chemistry I and II. Positions will involve syllabus development, lesson planning, grading, and correspondence with students. Positions are often rehired based on availability and funding.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Chemistry or a closely related field.
- Academic preparation adequate for the courses.
- At least two years’ college teaching experience (preferred).
- Experience with implementing active learning strategies.
- Experience teaching in large enrollment courses.
