Software Engineer

We're a team that helps researchers break free from tools that don't cut it by unleashing problem-tackling solutions that make a huge difference in real science. We're looking for a software engineer to work on life science instruments, designing software, AI tools, and scripting for automation and instrumentation.

Requirements

• Deliver custom lab automation software, firmware, and scripting solutions to end customers
• Develop software for interacting with and controlling automation hardware
• Collaborate with domain experts to specify, design, and create extensions to the Unchained software platform
• Have experience with hardware communication using CANBUS, Serial (232/485), TCP/IP, USB, MODBUS, and i2C
• Have excellent C# programming skills, including deep knowledge of multi-threaded and event-based designs
• Have experience with trouble shooting automated equipment
