VP, Advancement

Understood is seeking a Vice President of Advancement to drive long-term advancement vision and strategies to elevate awareness and cultivate relationships. The ideal candidate will be fluent in fundraising and have experience in both nonprofit and for-profit companies. The role requires a minimum of 10 years of fundraising experience and a bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. The salary range for this position is $250,000 to $300,000.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• At least ten years of fundraising experience
• Experience in both nonprofit and for-profit companies
• Ability to craft a vision, strategy, and roadmap for the function
• Fluency in fundraising fundamentals
• Ability to partner with like-minded people to address critical problems
