Job Description
Union.ai is looking for a Manager, Software Engineering to lead, mentor, and foster the professional growth of a high-performing engineering team. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in deeply technical roles in engineering functions, 3-4 years of experience leading a team of engineers, and a deep passion for Kubernetes and distributed systems.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in deeply technical roles in engineering functions
- 3-4 years of experience leading a team of engineers
- Deep passion for Kubernetes and the broader container orchestration ecosystem
- Deep passion for distributed systems, designing platforms for high scale
- Hands-on experience with backend programming languages (Go, Rust, Python)
- Ability to navigate and pick up new technologies quickly
- Understanding of building modern web applications using Next.js, React, and Typescript
