Job Description
Civil Site Engineer responsible for developing engineering designs, preparing construction documents, and coordinating with office staff to provide timely cost estimates. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, 5-10 years of experience, and a PE license.
Requirements
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar civil design software
- Strong understanding of grading, drainage, hydrology/hydraulics, utility design, and site permitting
- Familiarity with local and regional land development regulations and permitting processes
- Familiarity with local zoning codes, environmental regulations, and building codes
- Experience working directly with site developers and contractors
- Ability to adapt quickly to keep projects on schedule
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage fast-paced site production and meet deadlines
- Maintain and grow a network of clientele
