Job Description
This course provides a unique opportunity for upper-year students to work in prison law in support of the Jail Accountability and Information Line (JAIL Line). The course blends substantive learning in prison law with practical experience providing legal information to the Ottawa community.
Requirements
- An LL.B., J.D., or equivalent is required.
- Active membership in good standing in the Law Society of Ontario and Lawpro insurance is also required.
- Significant practical experience related to prison law is necessary.
- Prior teaching experience will be considered an asset.
