Warehouse Supervisor - Shipping

Job description for a Warehouse Supervisor - Shipping position at John Tillman Company, a division of Bunzl. The supervisor is responsible for daily shipping activities, supervising a crew, and enforcing company policies.

Requirements

• Coach and assign workload to individual warehouse associates
• Release deliveries to the floor
• Verify all completed shipments
• Book LTL, Truckloads and oversee small parcel shipments
• Communicate with Tillman corporate office Customer Service department and managers
• Issue performance appraisals and disciplinary write ups
• Participate in physical inventories
• Keep accurate attendance records and maintain a productive work environment
• Analyze and run reports as needed
• Supervise staff and delegate tasks daily
• Good reading (English) and math skills
• Bilingual in English/Spanish skills are a plus
