Software Engineer - Platform

Role Overview

Vesta is building an AI-augmented platform to transform the mortgage industry. The software engineer will be part of the early engineering team, responsible for scaling and maturing the platform to handle the entire mortgage market. The role requires deep experience in distributed systems, performance engineering, and proficiency in statically typed languages.

What You Will Do

The software engineer will work on scaling and maturing the platform, set guidelines and frameworks for the engineering organization, and be responsible for helping to set the technical tooling and organizational growth.

Requirements

• Deep experience scaling distributed systems with complex data dependencies
• Performance engineering in AWS, Kubernetes, Kafka, PostgreSQL, Redis, Elasticsearch
• Strong proficiency with C# or other statically typed languages such as Kotlin, Go, or Java
• Familiarity with observability tools (Datadog) and infrastructure as code (Terraform)
