Job description
Valiant Solutions is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to provide technical engineering support for a large federal government agency's highly complex network infrastructure environment. The ideal candidate will provide design and engineering activities in support of new network solutions and provide network support on an as-needed basis to resolve networking issues.
Gather user network requirements, install, maintain and evaluate network systems, troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, conduct network architecture design, and apply technical and business experience to improve processes and procedures.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network engineering, experience with Cisco routing platforms, and a demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex LAN and WAN issues. The candidate will also have experience providing Tier 3 support and issue resolution, and will be able to work independently and collectively to improve network solutions.
