Requirements

• Diagnose and treat patients (internal organ systems, prevention, and therapeutic treatment)
• Examine patients for symptoms and complete documentation
• Provide prescription medication and dietary recommendations
• Counsel patients on medication use and health maintenance
• Adhere to VA guidelines regarding clinical documentation, paperwork, and VA requirements
• Resolve patient concerns and communicate with team and clinic visitors
• Support patient enrollment and retention initiatives
• Comply with VA regulations and maintain certification
