Brake Operator 2

Vander-Bend is seeking a Brake Operator 2 to assist in complex set-up and forming techniques. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience as a Brake Operator and strong skills in layout, measuring, and print interpretation.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years as a Brake Operator
• Additional 2 years related shop experience
• Ability to read and write and understand written documents
• Visually distinguish between metals, such as aluminum and steel
• Dial caliper, square, protractor, and other measuring tool skills
• Calculator skills and basic math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and trigonometry
• Good layout skills for forming, including form direction, angles, and setup
• Third angle projection skills for print interpretation, including print call outs, notes, and geometric tolerances
• Good counting skills and accurate counting
• Computer skills and Amada 9-EX controller proficiency
