Job Description
Vast is building artificial gravity space stations, with their initial crewed space habitat, Haven-1, slated for launch in May 2026. They are seeking a Non-Destructive Evaluation Specialist to support the development of artificial-gravity human-rated space stations through inspection and testing of flight components and systems. The role involves technical leadership, training, and driving continuous improvement in NDT processes.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- NDT level II certification (PT, ET, UT), ASNT TC-1A/NAS-410 guidance
- NDT level II certification (UT), ASNT-TC-1A/NAS-410 guidance
- NDT level II certification (UT), ASNT-TC-1A/NAS-410 guidance
- 5+ years of experience in NDT (PT, ET, UT)
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends
