Process Engineer

Veeco is hiring a Process Engineer to support tool process qualification for Veeco Advanced Deposition and Etch Business Unit. The position will be based in Somerset, New Jersey. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual who likes to solve technical challenges and operate state-of-the-art, complex manufacturing machines in a hands-on manner.

Requirements

• BS in Materials Science or related field with at least 5 years of relevant experience in thin film etch and deposition
• Expertise in vacuum thin film technology
• Familiarity with thin film characterization techniques
• Data analysis, technical report writing and customer presentations
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with customers
