Job Description
VTRL is looking for a Diesel Technician to join our team in Nashville, TN for following hours: Monday-Friday 11:30AM - 8:00PM! As a Diesel Technician, you will play a vital role in delivering top-notch service to our customers. You will be responsible for conducting various repairs, both major and minor, while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Preferably possess post-secondary vocational education
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in mechanical inspections and repairs in a related field
- Must have or be willing to obtain a valid Class B Driver’s License within a specified timeframe
- Ability to understand and comply with Company Policies comprehensively
- Required Training: 2+ years of experience in heavy truck repairs or a related field
- Ability to pursue a Class B Commercial Driver’s License
- Basic training provided by third parties or the company
- Fundamental knowledge of heavy-duty electrical systems
- Capability to assist in diagnosing failures and executing repairs effectively
- Familiarity with component rebuilds and replacements, such as engines and transmissions
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
- Must be able to pass post offer drug test, and physical
