Design Engineer

Vercel is looking for a Design Engineer to join the Design Engineering team at Senior or Staff level. The role involves shaping the future of Vercel.com, events, and marketing surfaces, working closely with design, marketing, sales, GTM, Analytics, product design, and engineering.

Requirements

• At least 5+ years of development experience
• Strong programming skills and experience with application development
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent understanding of Next.js and Vercel, CMS platforms, analytics platforms, and design tools
• Familiarity with growth experimentation, SEO principles, and marketing/brand campaigns
• Skills and understanding on graphic design (layout, typography, color, illustration)
• Perfectionism with experience (polish, readability, accessibility, performance)
• Experience working in or with Software as a Service (SaaS) companies
