Backend Engineer - Events and Notifications

Verkada is a cloud-based B2B physical security platform company that offers six product lines integrated with a single cloud-based software platform. The company is seeking a Backend Engineer to own and maintain the Events and Notifications portion of Command, a user portal for customers. The ideal candidate will have experience in building scalable systems, maintaining public APIs, and developing internal tools.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or similar field
• 2+ years of professional experience as a Back End Engineer
• Demonstrated expertise in Python or GoLang
• Experience working with relational and non-relational databases
• History of shipping out significant products
