Job Description
Responsible for the design, procurement, implementation, and validation of automation and capital equipment. Collaborates with engineers and operations teams to sustain and enhance equipment performance and functionality.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in computer science, electrical engineering, automation engineering or other related areas of study
- 5 years of experience with demonstrated history in designing, developing, and implementing, robust state of the art control solutions
- Practical knowledge of SCADA system (Ignition preferred), programming in Python, JAVA or other high-level languages
- Experience using one or more Industrial Control Programming and Development Environments (Studio 5000, Ignition)
- Experience with industrial network protocols such as RESTful API, OPC-UA, Modbus, SEC/GEMS
- Experience with industrial communication protocols such as RS-232 and RS-485
- Experience in managing new product or process from development up to manufacturing
- Experience in handling high end automation in manufacturing industry
