Planificateur(trice) principal(e)

As a Principal Planner at VIA Rail, you will play a key role in shaping the future of passenger rail transportation in Canada. Your responsibilities will include job planning, review and optimization, capacity management, monitoring and control, quality and continuous improvement, and resource management. You will work on the LDRE program and be responsible for planning and capacity management. You will also participate in Monte Carlo analysis.

Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience in managing major projects or planning
• Strong expertise in strategic planning and integrated capacity management
• PMP certification (an asset)
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in French and English
• Autonomy and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• MS Project, EPM, and Excel (complex scenario modeling) mastery
• Leadership, organizational skills, and ability to lead teams
• Strategic vision and ability to establish clear priorities
