UI & CMS Developer

Viget is an independent digital agency seeking a UI & CMS Developer for a full-time remote position. As a UI & CMS Developer, you will work on projects that challenge you to learn and grow as a developer, collaborating with project managers, user experience and visual designers, and other developers to build visually rich digital experiences and compelling products.

Requirements

• Build new applications, content, and ecommerce sites using Craft CMS, WordPress, and other modern web technologies.
• Write clean and effective code in both front-end (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and back-end (PHP) languages.
• Experience with or eagerness to learn about DDEV, Vite, Tailwind CSS, Alpine.js, and Astro.
• Define and implement data models and write performant queries.
• Build visually-accurate, responsive, and accessible interfaces from designs
• Passionate about digital accessibility and creating websites that work for everyone.
• Keep up with the ever-evolving landscape of web technologies and stay pragmatic about what to invest their time and energy in.
• Care about modern best practices, including code reviews, continuous integration and deployment, and iterative development.
• Leverage AI tools to do their best work while retaining healthy skepticism and a dedication to human-based artisanship.

Benefits

• Annual base salary of $80,000 - $120,000 per year depending on skills and experience
