HS diploma/GED, valid driver's license, and an appropriate law enforcement certificate are required. Any combination of experience and training, with two years of increasing responsibility, would qualify
Police Officer - LATERAL ENTRY
Currently a certified Police Officer in Illinois with 1+ year experience. High School Diploma or GED required. Valid driver's license and law enforcement certificate needed
Police Officer - ENTRY LEVEL
Must have a High School Diploma or GED, be able to attend 16-week Police Academy, and meet physical requirements
