Senior Network Engineer

viLogics seeks a Senior Network Engineer to create effective system networking solutions, design efficient computer network alternatives, and troubleshoot local and wide area network infrastructure. The position requires travel and will be responsible for planning, designing, and troubleshooting network infrastructure, as well as installing software applications to make faster connections between organizational servers and client machines.

Requirements

• Plan, design, and troubleshoot local and wide area network infrastructure
• Test and document system behavior, performance, and security
• On-site installation of hardware required
• Solve interoperability networking problems and increase end-user satisfaction
• Upgrade networking equipment and plan computer engineering solutions to decrease security risks
• Manage local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN) support security credentials, manage wireless ranges and issues
• Install software and/or hardware firewalls to protect company data
• Maximize network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades, and collaborating with network architects on network optimization
• Optimize server response and overall operation for faster file transfer
• Work with other network teammates to troubleshoot and implement complex network devices
