Java Developer

Java Developer responsible for software engineering lifecycle, web development, and system testing. Produce comprehensive test cases, support and participate in system and integrated testing, and deliver quality code to specification. Work on development, maintenance, and software improvement of APSTAR and Business Banking Servicing Infrastructure platforms.

Requirements

• Understand CIB business terminology and business priorities from stakeholders
• Collaborate with various teams to identify the scope of work
• Use tools like JIRA to document software requirements
• Produce comprehensive test cases for all developed code
• Support and participate in system and integrated testing across subsystems as the need arises
• Interpret functional specifications, create technical specifications, and deliver quality code to specification
• Work on development, maintenance, and software improvement of the APSTAR and Business Banking Servicing Infrastructure platforms
• Perform code reviews prior to implementation
• Perform Unit QA IST Testing
• Provide third level technical production support of APSTAR to resolve difficult technical issues
• Setup monitoring and resolve production issues
• Contribute directly in software engineering and production support process improvement initiatives
• Conduct technical interviews to hire software engineers for the APSTAR application development team
