Senior Platform Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to drive the platform development for our scheduling and staffing system. The role involves modernizing our infrastructure, ensuring high availability, and implementing DevSecOps and FinOps. The platform is built on Microsoft Windows Server and SQL Server, but is delivered in a cloud architecture.

What You Will Do

As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for our platform, focusing on tasks such as AWS Hosting & Performance, Security (DevSecOps), Cost optimization (FinOps), Pipelines (CI/CD), Installations / upgrades, and Technical support.

Requirements

• Several years of documented experience with AWS and build architecture according to best practices
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IAC)
• Innate security mindset and comfort with concepts such as DevSecOps
• Experience in building CI/CD pipelines in tools such as GitHub Actions, TeamCity, or Octopus Deploy
• Cost-conscious mindset (FinOps) and knowledge of optimizing resource usage in public cloud
• Documented experience of running the Microsoft stack (Windows Server, SQL Server)
