Job Description
The Software Engineer-ABAP is responsible for managing all aspects of the product development and support, working with teams across organizational and geographical boundaries to design and develop the State-of-the-art architecture for SAP applications.
Requirements
- Design, develop, test, and support SAP ABAP applications in implementation and enhancement projects.
- Develop and enhance ABAP Reports (Classical, Interactive, ALV, and OO-based) as per business requirements.
- Implement and customize Business Add-Ins (BADIs) to extend standard SAP functionality.
- Follow latest ABAP coding standards and best practices, including modular and object-oriented programming.
- Collaborate closely with functional consultants (especially SAP SD) to understand business processes and translate them into technical solutions.
- Work on pricing-related enhancements and custom developments in SAP SD.
- Perform debugging, performance tuning, and issue resolution.
- Prepare technical documentation and support knowledge transfer activities.
