Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing client-centered, evidence-based nursing care to individuals and families in their homes and community with a focus on palliative care.
Requirements
- Must be Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the province of practice
- Fundamentals of Palliative Care, or an equivalent required
- CAPCE or equivalent required or agreement to complete upon hire
- Three (3) years of experience in the community or acute care setting, with a focus on palliative care is preferred
- Canadian Nurses Association certification in Palliative Care is considered an asset
- Other palliative care courses is considered an asset
- Clinical practice experience is an asset
