Job Description
The Controls Electrician is responsible for installing controls electrical components in Building Automation Systems (BAS) and collaborating with team members and subcontractors.
Requirements
- Understand devices and how to wire different manufacturers and types of controllers.
- Read and understand blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams as well as read and interpret equipment submittals.
- Advanced electrical knowledge and ability to work on high- and low-voltage equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical problems.
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC-related electrical motors.
