Engineering Manager

Role Overview

As an Engineering Manager, you will lead a cross-functional software engineering team responsible for designing, building, and delivering scalable applications and platform capabilities. This role combines technical leadership, people management, and hands-on collaboration to support the delivery of high-quality software solutions aligned with product and business priorities.

What You Will Do

Lead and develop a cross-functional team of Frontend, Backend/API, and Quality Assurance engineers. Partner with Product Managers to translate product requirements into technical solutions, delivery plans, and engineering priorities. Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including planning, architecture, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing iteration.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 6+ years of software engineering experience
• 2+ years of engineering leadership or people management experience
• Experience developing APIs and distributed applications using modern backend technologies and service-oriented architectures
• Strong experience with Python and modern backend development frameworks
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), event-driven architectures, and scalable web applications
• Experience leading Agile software development teams and collaborating cross-functionally with Product and Data teams
• Experience with mapping and geospatial technologies such as Mapbox preferred
• Real estate, financial services, or related industry experience preferred
