Job Description
Assist in all aspects of the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning trade. Primary duties involve assisting skilled tradesmen in duties necessary to operate and maintain University HVAC systems efficiently and reliably.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent GED
- Up to 3 years of experience in residential or commercial HVAC and plumbing or a closely related field
- Must be willing to receive additional training as required
- Required to respond to emergencies within 30 minutes
- Must be able to follow verbal and written directions and provide responses in writing
- Ability to use computers to read and respond to emails and to use basic applications
- Possession and maintenance of a valid Virginia vehicle operator’s license and a good driving record
