Job Description
Wavepoint 3PL is seeking a reliable and dedicated Local Driver to drive a commercial vehicle and trailer to various loading and unloading sites. The role involves timely deliveries, excellent customer service, and adherence to DOT regulations and company policies. Drivers are responsible for driving independently in varying weather conditions.
Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Drivers License
- Current DOT Physical Certification
- Good MVR – no DUI’s, no more than 2 at-fault DOT reportable accidents, no reckless/careless driving within the last 3 years
- Two years of verifiable experience driving a commercial vehicle
- Familiarity with Federal Motor Carrier Regulations
- Ability to drop and hook trailers
- Minor repair skills
