Software Engineer, Event Response

Waymo is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain C++ software systems, tooling, and infrastructure to support real-world event and incident response.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
• 4+ years of experience in backend development
• Experience with backend coding languages: C++, Python, and/or Java
• Experience with design for distributed systems
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
