Job Description
Actuarial Analyst needed to assist in the design, development, testing and maintenance of actuarial computer systems for all major actuarial recurring projects and assignments. The ideal candidate has a combination of actuarial and strong computer programming skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree with a major in mathematical, statistical, actuarial sciences and/or computing sciences.
- Completion of three or more exams towards attainment of Associate of the Society of Actuaries (A.S.A.) or Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society (A.C.A.S.) designation with continued pursuit towards associateship by actively writing actuarial exams.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail along with the ability to deal effectively with people, work under pressure and contribute as a team player.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel are required.
- Strong computer programming knowledge in SQL is required.
- Other programming skills (Visual Basic.Net) are a plus.
