Electrophysiology Technologist - Cardiac Cath/EP Lab - York Hospital - Full-Time - Day

Provides technical support and assistance to the physician during Electrophysiology procedures, prepares and maintains all pertinent information related to procedures, and provides care, assessment prior, during and post-procedural instruction to patients.

Requirements

• Demonstrates proficiency in relevant radiation safety
• Monitors and assess clinical status of patient
• Monitors and manages cardiovascular hemodynamics
• Practices within the scope of Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) protocols when administering emergency care
• Demonstrates proficiency with the setup and operation of all equipment associated with cardiac electrophysiology procedures
• Attains Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) certification within 3 year of hire date
