Job Description
WellSpan Health is seeking a Medical Director to lead the Hospitalist Service at WellSpan Chambersburg Hospital in Chambersburg, PA. This role involves providing direct patient care, clinical leadership, and team supervision. The Medical Director will be a mentor and role model for all members of the department. Expectation of a stable and respected hospitalist team is vital for the position.
Requirements
- Board Certified in Internal or Family Medicine
- Eligible for licensure in Pennsylvania
- 3 years relevant experience
- Management responsibilities and familiarity with performance improvement processes
- Strong clinical, managerial and leadership skills
- Team-building skills
- Patient experience and cost-of-care emphasis
