Nursing Assistant - Emergency Department - Evening/Night

Part Time - Nursing Assistant - Emergency Department - Evening/Night. Provides clinical support services to patient care staff by performing a variety of duties related to patient care. Takes patient vital signs, assists patients with activities of daily living, and performs special assigned and or delegated duties such as performing EKGs, Point-of-Care testing, phlebotomy and splinting.

Requirements

• 12 hours/week or 24 hours/week shifts in the Emergency Department
• Evening/Night shifts (7:00 p.m. - 7:30 a.m.)
• Weekend and holiday rotations
• Ability to perform a variety of duties related to patient care
• Ability to take patient vital signs, assist patients with activities of daily living, and perform special assigned and or delegated duties
• Knowledge of principles of growth and development over the life span of the assigned patient population
• Ability to demonstrate a commitment to patient, visitor and staff safety
• Ability to maintain established policies and procedures, objectives, quality assessment, safety, environmental and infection control standards
