Job Description
The Sterile Processing Technician (day shift) ensures instrument sterility, decontamination, inspection, and storage according to established standards. They work with perioperative staff to provide sterilized instrument sets and maintain a consistent workflow, collaborating on service-specific instrumentation needs. This role requires excellent communication skills and adherence to safety protocols.
Requirements
- Maintains instruments according to established policies and procedures.
- Coordinates procurement of instrumentation specific to assigned service.
- Decontaminates instruments and equipment following established safety protocols.
- Assembles case carts appropriately for assigned procedures.
