
Job description
Teach students in various subjects, develop programs and materials, and provide individualized instruction to adapt to each pupil's needs. Establish procedures for maintaining control and creating a suitable learning environment. Evaluate pupil growth and communicate with parents.
Teach reading, language arts, mathematics, social science, general science, health, art, physical education, and music. Develop and implement instructional materials and programs. Maintain attendance records and administer standardized tests.
Must possess a California elementary teaching credential and a BA degree. Must have English Learner Authorization (CLAD or equivalent) and CSET. Must be able to work with aides, teacher assistants, and other paraprofessionals.
