Job Description
As Canada’s second-largest commercial radio broadcaster, Vista Radio Ltd operates over 70 radio stations and digital news portals across three provinces and the Northwest Territories. We are looking for a Promotions Coordinator and Announcer to plan and execute promotions for our station in the North Okanagan.
Requirements
- Experience in Marketing, Events and/or Broadcasting and Media in a professional setting
- On-air host experience
- Excellent time management and organization skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask under tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite & Google Docs
- Strong Social Media skills
- Basic Photoshop or Canva knowledge
- Basic working familiarity with Adobe Audition
- Previous experience in web content management systems is an asset
- Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License and clean driving abstract
- Ability to work prolonged hours on your feet and lift 50lbs
- Legally qualified to work in Canada
