Senior Java Backend Developer with DevOps Focus

Role Overview

Develop and operate secure applications in the public sector. Work on security-critical applications in the digital justice environment, developing features, designing architectures, and participating in build, deployment, and operation processes.

What You Will Do

Develop new functions with a focus on security and quality, create technical solution concepts, analyze and correct errors, maintain and further develop CI/CD pipelines, and optimize release and deployment processes.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in backend development with Java (Spring / Spring Boot)
• Experience with containerized applications and Kubernetes (including tools like Helm)
• Knowledge of CI/CD (e.g. GitLab CI or comparable)
• Safe handling of relational databases (e.g. Oracle SQL)
• Understanding of modern software development and DevOps principles
• Structured working method and high quality standards
• Good English skills (project communication), German skills are an asset
