Established in 1891, Westerner Park is a Central Alberta institution dedicated to community events and agricultural activities. The park generates over $150 million annually through more than 1.5 million visitors participating in 1,500 unique events each year, from weddings to hockey games. As a not-for-profit organization, Westerner Park reinvests all earnings into improving its facilities, grounds, and amenities, ensuring it remains a cornerstone for celebration in the region.

High school diploma, 2-3 years of experience, and experience using Campspot or other campground reservation systems required
Agriculture Events Assistant - Summer Student
High school degree, 0-1 year of experience, basic proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, strong work ethic, and ability to perform physically demanding tasks
RV Resort Attendant - Summer Student
Currently enrolled in high school or post-secondary education, or a recent graduate. Previous customer service or hospitality experience is an asset
Landscaper - Summer Student
Previous landscaping or groundskeeping experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 are considered assets
Floor Supervisor (Casual)
ProServe Certification, ability to work evenings, weekends, and flexible event schedules, strong communication, customer service, and team leadership skills
Manager, Agriculture & Innovation
Post-secondary education, 5–7 years of experience in agriculture or related field, strong understanding of agricultural systems and producer needs
Line Cook (Casual)
1+ years of cooking experience, Food Safe or Food Handler Certification, strong time management and organizational skills
Health & Safety Administrative Assistant - Summer Student
Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program, 0-1 year of experience, and basic understanding of workplace health and safety principles
