Facility Maintenance Technician

Role Overview

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the repair, upkeep, and preventative maintenance of machinery, equipment, and facility systems in a manufacturing environment. This role ensures production equipment operates safely and efficiently to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations.

What You Will Do

Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on production machinery, tools, and facility systems. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues using diagnostic tools and schematics. Repair or replace defective components, including motors, bearings, belts, sensors, pumps, valves, and wiring.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Experience using hand tools, power tools, multimeters, PLCs, and other diagnostic equipment. Ability to work independently under minimal supervision.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical certification or associate degree in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, multimeters, PLCs, and other diagnostic equipment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
• Familiarity with CMMS systems
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Excellent time management and ability to prioritize tasks
• Team player with strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently under minimal supervision
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Prolonged standing, climbing, bending, and working in tight spaces
• Comfortable working at heights or in varying temperatures depending on facility conditions
