Quality Inspector

Role Overview

The Quality Inspector is responsible for assisting in all aspects of quality and inspection at Westfall Technik, including product inspections, report creation, and procedure development. The role requires strong organizational abilities and mechanical aptitude, with a working understanding of Excel and Word. The Quality Inspector will work in a team environment to accomplish all tasks of the department and be able to communicate effectively both written and verbally.

What You Will Do

The Quality Inspector will perform quality analysis of all product run/shipped, ensure overall customer satisfaction through quality assessment and prompt responsiveness to inquiries, and meet scheduled hours and dates of all tasks and jobs. They will also utilize machinery, prioritize equipment usage, and maximize efficiency by working to minimize setup and run times in all machines.

Requirements

• High School degree minimum, advanced degree a plus
• Strong organizational abilities and mechanical aptitude
• Ability to operate all inspection equipment, from hand gages to automated machines
• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively
• Working understanding of Excel and Word
