Job description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Underground Senior Geologist to assist in the implementation and execution of geological tasks on a family-friendly 8:6 roster at Beta Hunt Operations in the Southern Goldfields. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering and maintaining the diamond drill schedule to obtain all required data to produce block models inline with the requirement of the mining schedule.
Accountable for all mine geology activities, producing and maintaining the diamond drill schedule, contributing to delivering the resource model updates, geological reconciliation, grade control, and supervision of Project Geologists, Mine Geologists, Graduate/Junior Geologists, Geology technicians, and Contractors.
7+ years' mining experience, comprehensive understanding of the mining cycle, demonstrated technical excellence, ability to accurately forecast budgets, and demonstrated experience in Leapfrog.
