Enterprise Architect

We’re searching for an Enterprise Architect to join our growing team. This hybrid role is based out of our Head Office in Surrey, BC. The Enterprise Architect will turn Westland’s vision into clear, actionable technology plans, connecting business and technology across people, data, and platforms to build a cohesive, future-ready architecture.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in IT architecture, including at least 3 years in an Enterprise Architect or Lead Solution Architect role
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline
• Exceptional communication skills and executive presence, with proven experience partnering with senior leaders (e.g., CIO) and delivering clear, compelling presentations to executive audiences
• Proven track record of designing and delivering solutions in public cloud environments (e.g., Azure or AWS), along with building scalable integration strategies (API Management, iPaaS)
• Strong expertise in integration patterns, data architecture, and cybersecurity best practices
• Hands-on experience modernizing legacy systems while effectively balancing core platforms (such as mainframes or policy administration systems) with modern digital solutions
• Familiarity with architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• A strategic, detail-oriented, and highly organized mindset, with the ability to take initiative and excel in fast-paced, dynamic environments
